✷ showcasing cool tunes from around the globe.. according to my taste anyway ✷

african - mostly old fashioned, jazz, rock, folk music, more pop towards the end, tinariwen at the very end (best band ever)

southwest asian / north african - some mohsen yeganeh, some north african folk music, lotta tacky arabic pop (endearing).. and YES there is armenian music on there (ladaniva) cause i didn't have anywhere else to put it

latin / brazilian / idfk - first section is brazilian music (samba, bossa nova, tropicalia, jazz, masayoshi takanaka and lisa ono are japanese but clearly heavily influenced by brazilian music so.. they're here too), and the 2nd half is latin music (folk music, pop, weird experimental rock, reggaeton, and ofc classic mexican dad music)

cool j-rock - self explanatory

ocean themed - who even knows what this playlist is. shibuya kei, bossa nova, jazz, hawaiian guitar.. anything that feels like the ocean.. not sure if it should be here but its a really good playlist

OPM - music from the PHILIPPINESSS RAHHHH (im american)

south asian - mainly bollywood music and old classic bengali songs. weird combination i know.
